God works within our lives, sometimes when we think we know what is coming and sometimes when we least expect it. I believe this new blessing is the latter. After having serving a part-time music ministry position in my home church for almost 10 years, I resigned to focus more on my writing, leading music reading sessions and making musical memories with our daughter and in her performances. I love directing choirs, as also a former high school choral director of 28 years, and I missed that and missed traditional music, and singing and playing at my church for almost the past 6 years. While I will still maintain my home church membership, I feel God is leading me to a local Baptist church where I can again use my gifts to lead worship, sing and play piano and encourage others, lead other members to share their gifts within a choir and numerous other areas of the arts that will bless the church and the online viewers. I will still maintain a piano teaching studio, sing Sunday nights with our gospel choir and wrangle two precious grand-boys when given the opportunity. I am blessed with a supportive husband who understands and will provide great euphonium assistance to our home church orchestra! God is great and I'm thankful that He gave me that push to again use my gifts for His Kingdom.
