It seems like yesterday when we were opening the little card that said "Can't wait for you to be grandparents!" Our hearts soared and we prayed for a sweet baby with 10 fingers and 10 toes, who was healthy and would grow up to be an adorable, loved child. Well, that adorable loved grandson turns one year old this month! It's hard to believe that he is no longer a little infant but an adventurous, book-loving, chatterer who is beautiful, loves boats, planes, puppies (even large dogs) and has a smile for days! This Mimi and husband, Pops, are smitten and visit when we can. (I more than Jim, thanks to Southwest flyer miles and non-revenue flights!) As we have said many times, "We are a little late to the Grandparent Party, but at least we get to attend!"
